This Extra Large Yarn Bowl was crafted from local cherry hardwood, over a three month period. Nicely shaped with a graceful east-west warp to show off yarn projects while making them elegant and portable.

​Features include raised rim detail, with a dimple of gold toned sparkle inlay over Bob's signature hand cut yarn groove. Over fourteen coats of finish were applied and hand-buffed to bring out the interesting grains and stories the wood tells. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints; resulting in a brilliant shine and durable finish.
Oversized at 9 3/4" diameter X 4" deep this yarn bowl is nice and roomy with a wide top opening, gently sloped sides and flat bottom. Perfect for "Little Box of Crochet" projects, two medium balls of worsted or a giant ball of blanket yarn, with room for your #WIP, tools, etc., when set aside. Dimensions listed are approximate.
