This XXL Yarn Bowl ticks all the boxes. Pleasingly designed in a Hopi style with a 9 1/2" opening x 11 1/2" (widest midpoint) x 5" deep it's functional yarning decor at it's best and a thoughtful gift for knitting, crochet and looming artists. And, for those with mischievous felines, this yarn bowl is "paw proof".

The reclaimed cherry hardwood was crafted over a six month period, with a graceful hand-cut yarn groove, and a gentle north-south warp. Rich brown and copper accents of outer/inner bark layers are finished smooth as silk for added interest. Twelve coats of finish and hand-buffing brings out the rich character of the stunning cherry wood tones and brilliant shine. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains.

Two large balls of yarn will roll nicely, or use a hub and pull several smaller balls from the top. Shown here with two 5oz. balls of worsted. Always room for your work, tools, etc., when set aside to be admired. Dimensions listed are approximate. Each one-of-a-kind piece is signed and numbered; #1095 with "Cherry" (species) engraved as well.
