This  Large Yarn Bowl is mesmerizing!
Made from local cherry hardwood; you'll love the interesting grains, silky Fibonacci spiral groov, cool pool of bronze colored sparkle and brilliant, durable shine. Top opening is 7" (diameter), depth is 5-1/2". Circumference is22-1/2" at its widest point. This "workhorse" will be at your side for every yarn project large or small... Here's why:
This LARGE sized yarn bowls will cradle a full 7+oz. "super saver" ball of #4 (worsted) and average sizes cake (7oz +/-); or a small knitting/crochet project using #0 - #3 weight fine/dk/sport yarn, or a large spool of crochet cotton (shown). Designed and tested to ensure that: the yarn won't pop out the top; yarn cakes keep their shape, and also double as a frogging bowl –leaving frogged yarn easy to put aside. 

This specimen of cherry hardwood was crafted over a three month period with over seventeen coats of finish/buffing to bring out the wood tones and dazzling shine. A final coat of imported museum wax resists fingerprints and stains.  Dimensions listed are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered; #648 with "Cherry" (species) engraved as well.
