Sometimes Bob finishes a bowl that's perfect in every way and this is one of them. Truly "The Best of the Best;" this XL cherry yarn bowl is a generously sized, versatile yarn tool you won't work without. Measurements are 7-1/2" (top diameter) x 5-3/4 (top opening)  6" (deep) od; circumference is 27-1/2" around the middle. For more on choosing the right size bowl for you; and how we measure our yarn bowls using diameter vs. circumference visit our blog.

Emerald sparkle inlay is set in the rim, adding a bit of subtle bling and holiday spirit. Bob's Fibonacci spiral groove is smooth as silk. The cherry wood tones will deepen over time under a durable, brilliant finish. A very slight slope at the top makes the opening "paw-proof" while still wide and open. Suffice it to say, it's a stunner "in real life..."

Nature dried this piece nice and round with an undetectable warp. The raised 1/4" base adds nice ballast right where its needed. An entire "super saver" 7 oz. ball of #4 wt. worsted rolls like silk with lots of room to spare. Perfect for blanket yarn and heavier weights. Generous 7oz. +/-  yarn cakes fit well. Load your cakes upside-down feeding the yarn through the groove and collapsing will be less of a problem. Nice for knitting/crochet projects using fine #0 - #3 weight fine/DK/sport yarns with plenty of room for smaller works (think scarves, gloves, mittens, hats) to rest on top when your work is set aside. Use it for "frogging" and your wips are easy aside if interrupted!?
Crafted over a three-month period; over seventeen coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the rich character of the wood tones and dazzling shine. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains. Dimensions listed are approximate.

One-of-a-kind signed and numbered; #724  with "Cherry" (species) engraved as well. This is yarning decor at its best and a splurge you'll never regret.

Note: Wood tones in the video appear darker. See still photos for better color representation.
