This large cherry yarn bowl is perfectly shaped to keep a generous 5 oz. ball of yarn from popping out. At 6” in diameter it's value priced because it's a tiny bit lower than it's counterparts at 4-3/4” tall. Circumference* is 20" around the middle; the straight sided drum shape gives you maximum space and perfectly fits up to 5 +/- oz yarn cakes. HINT: feed cake yarn into the Fibonacci spiral groove, then load the cake upside down for smooth pulling.

Perfect for small knitting or crochet projects like socks and mittens, this tool will be a constant at your side for your yarn on the hook –even with giant projects. The silky "Fibonacci" spiral yarn groove, pretty wood tones and grains are nicely accented by Bob's high polished finish which holds up brilliantly over time. Two cool wedges of pink sparkle inlay add interest to the east/west side views using ancient Wabi-Sabi techniques to enhance dramatic cracks made by unique weather conditions in play when the wood dried over time. The decorative 1/4" raised base adds a bit of graceful ballast.

This piece was hand sanded/finished over seventeen times to a reflective glossy finish, enhanced by a final coat of museum wax to resist fingerprints. One-of-a-kind signed, and numbered by the artist; #670, dimensions listed are approximate.
