This Large cherry yarn bowl measures 6-3/4" (top opening) x 5-" (depth). Circumference is 25" around the middle; perfectly sized to rest at your side for smooth pulling. Bob's Fibonacci spiral yarn groove guarantees smooth easy pulling. A big fat 7oz. "saver" ball of #4 weight. worsted (shown) rolls with ease. Or, load it up with a few smaller Fingering/DK weight balls, an average-sized yarn cake, or a big spool of cotton –its so versatile.

Gotta' frog? Unwind into the bowl and set it aside without tangles if interrupted. From small projects like coasters, socks, or hand warmers to a dedicated bowl for your yarn on the hook, you won't want to work without this functional collectible.
The buttery to dark cherry tones, history marks, and nicely round shape make this the quintessential yarn bowl. The shine is brilliant IRL; even though it made photos difficult because of the reflection and a flat look in the pics. A bit of heft was added to the 1/4" raised base for ballast right where it's needed.
This fine specimen of cherry was sanded/finished over seventeen times to a durable lasting shine set with a final coat of museum wax. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered by the artist; #2414, The outside dimensions are approximate.
