Many fiber artists gravitate to handcrafted tools to enhance their work aesthetic.This cherry "tool minder" set is a unique multi-function piece whether you’re into yarning, embroidering, quilting, felting… you name it.
Made from two adjacent pieces of cherry hardwood, the tool plate (bottom #2422) measures 9-3/4" in diameter x  2-1/2" high and stores compact tools when nested (see photos). The shallow bowl (top #2423) nests on top. Both have a 1/4" base for ballast. A removable cup hub is included for a plethora of tasks depending on the craft. Just right for small tools like hooks, markers, small scissors, etc. to make tools easily accessible to view and grab for a smooth, neat workflow.
The larger bowl nestles on the shallow tool plate; floating just right when the two (darker) center fronts are lined vertically (see photos/video). Varied light to dark cherry tones will deepen over time; under a silky smooth durable finish crafted to last. A final coat of museum wax resists fingerprints. Outside dimensions are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered by the artist; #2422/2423.
Turned by Bob and nature it’s a rare set because adjacent pieces of wood like this don’t usually dry/warp in the same way allowing them to nest! That said, we don't really want to sell this piece, so it’s "priced not to sell" 🤣
