This XXL Kauri Yarn Bowl for bigger knitting and crochet projects is a beauty! Over six months in the making, it was crafted using a slow cure. Over twelve coats of finish were applied and hand-buffed to bring out the interesting character of the blonde and grey grains set into buttery wood tones. Silky smooth to the touch, super shiny and undetectable warping, make this unique offering one of our finer collector's bowl. A final coat of imported museum wax was applied to resist fingerprints and stains.

Generously sized at 11" diameter x 5" deep, this bowl is ideal for medium sized yarn projects (think mittens, socks, mandalas...) with lots of space for tools and extras.
One huge or two medium balls of worsted will pull nicely through the groove or, pull a few smaller balls from the top. And, the wide rim is not only decorative, but hinders prying kitty paws from raiding your project. You'll be proud to own this functional heirloom bowl. Dimensions listed are approximate.
