Truly one-of-a-kind, this extra large Queensland Kauri Yarn Bowl is nicely shaped with golden tones and grains, a graceful groove and a fun surprise; a flower mandala set into the inside base making this a unique yarn gift and one of our finer collectible bowls.

​Over twelve coats of finish were applied and hand-buffed to bring out the rich character of the wood. Silky smooth to the touch with a dazzling finish –this feature that can't be captured in the photos! A final coat of imported museum wax was applied to resist fingerprints and stains.
At a roomy 9” in diameter and 5 1/4” deep, one huge ball of yarn or a couple smaller ones roll nicely with plenty of room for extras when the project is put aside. This is a great bowl for stash busting mandalas with lots of small balls of yarn or medium sized sock, mitten and scarf projects. Dimensions listed are approximate.
