Loaded with special properties, this Extra Extra Large Yarn Bowl is made from local cherry hardwood, crafted  over a three month period. Form meets function as this roomy bowl makes yarning projects portable while elevating your work to a new level.

​Features include mother of pearl inspired sparkle inlay set into the rim with accents set into outer/inner bark layers finished smooth as silk for added interest. The graceful hand cut yarn groove is perfectly shaped and enhanced by a slight east/west warp (note, photos make warping appear more pronounced).
Over fourteen coats of finish were applied and hand-buffed to bring out the striking wood tones. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains, making it silky, super shiny and durable

​Oversized at 10 1/2" diameter X 4" deep; it's very roomy and perfect for granny square, sock, scarf or mitten projects. Two medium balls of worsted yarn or a giant ball of blanket yarn roll nicely, with plenty of extra room for your work, tools, etc., when set aside. Dimensions listed are approximate.
