This Jumbo Yarn Bowl steps up to manage the biggest yarning projects in style! Over six months in the making, the reclaimed cherry was finely crafted using a very slow cure. Interesting patterns of sapphire inspired Sparkle Inlay is set into a deep chocolate ovals of buffed bark on the back with a generous band set into the rim.
Sized at a whopping 13-1/4" diameter x 5" deep with a circumference of 41-1/2" around the rim, this is one of Bobs largest #JumboYarnBowls. Two very large balls of worsted yarn or a giant ball of blanket yarn will roll nicely through the groove, or, you can work several balls of yarn pulling from the top. |
There's tons of extra space for your work, tools, etc., when the project is set aside. Or load it up with six 5oz. balls of worsted as shown!
Fourteen coats of finish were applied and hand-buffed to bring out the rich character of thewood. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains, making it smooth as glass.
