This rare Jumbo Yarn Bowl is a sight to behold! Pleasingly designed in a Hopi style with a 10-1/2" opening x 14" (widest point around the base at a circumference of 42") x 4-1/2" deep this piece is functional yarn decor at it's best and the perfect gift for yarn lovers. For those with mischievous felines, this yarn bowl is also "paw proof".

The local cherry hardwood was crafted over a five month period and features a graceful hand cut groove, a slight north/south warp, rolled edge and a brilliant shine from fifteen coats of finish, each hand-buffed to bring out the deep cherry to blonder wood tones accented by interesting chocolate grains. 
A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains. This shape is a customer favorite and this one's the first Jumbo Bob has made in this style.

​Two very large balls of yarn will roll nicely, or use a hub and pull several smaller balls from the top or load it up with 5 full-skein 5 oz balls of yarn.
