​This XL Cherry Yarn Bowl is pleasingly plump, with striking  copper twinkle inlay set into stunning grains. And, it's a versatile yarn tool you won't want to work without. Amply shaped at 8-1/2" diameter (top opening)  x 6" deep with a circumference of 30-1/2" around the middle, this stunning heirloom is deceptively big. Projects are more portable with this piece; and when the bowl is unpacked for yarning two average balls of 4-ply will roll nicely. You can easily fit an entire "Super Saver" 7.5 oz ball with plenty of room to spare or, pull several smaller balls of finer yarn from the top for #stashbusting with panache! There's plenty of space for everything when your #wip is artfully set aside. 

Lovingly hand crafted over a three month period; you'll love its pretty round shape –unusual for fresh hardwoods that warp in varying degrees while curing. Over fourteen coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the rich character of the wood tones and super shine. Bob's hand-cut spiral yarn groove is smooth as silk. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains. Dimensions listed are approximate.
