This LARGE Cherry Yarn Bowl #625 is artfully turned in a ball shape, designed to conform to a 5oz (+/-) skein of #4 worsted rolled in a ball to glide like silk. Delightful to look at and purrrrrfectly shaped to thwart pawing kitties ^.^

Features include Bob's silky spiral groove, beautiful wood tones and grains, nicely accented by a super shiny finish that holds up brilliantly over time.

Top opening is 4-1/2” diameter x  5” tall with a circumference of 21" around its chubby middle. For more on how we measure our yarn bowls using diameter vs. circumference and finding the best sized yarn bowl for you, read "How Big is That Yarn Bowl?" here.

If you're looking for a single bowl for your yarn on the hook this "workhorse" yarn bowl will be at your side for every project you do. Note: while I would use this primarily as a single ball work bowl, all the usual (very small) projects and smaller cakes (shown) do fit with a bit less room at the top of the bowl. Smaller cakes might need a squish because of the curved top. If you like to roll & work oversized or chunky balls, you'll want to consider an XL.

Crafted over a four month period, the round profile is every so slightly warped, pretty from any angle. Fourteen plus cycles of hand-buffing/finish bring out the rich character of the wood tones and grains. A final coat of imported museum wax is added to resist fingerprints and stains. Dimensions listed are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered by the artist, #625
