This Large Cherry Yarn Bowl was roundly shaped to hug an entire 7 oz skein with ease, and thats not all. Features include Bob's silky "Fibonacci" spiral  groove, beautiful wood tones and grains nicely accented by a super shiny finish that holds up brilliantly over time.

Top is 6-1/2” diameter x  5-3/4” tall. The 1/4" decorative raised base adds some ballast. Circumference is 23-1/2" around the middle. For more on how we measure our yarn bowls using diameter vs. circumference and finding the best sized yarn bowl for you, read "How Big is That Yarn Bowl?" here.

This "workhorse" will be at your side for every yarn project you do, large or small... Here's why:
All our LARGE sized yarn bowls will cradle 5 - 7 oz. of #4 (worsted) ball or cake; or a small knitting/crochet project using #0 - #3 weight fine/dk/sport yarn, or a large spool of crochet cotton (shown). Designed and tested to ensure that: the yarn won't pop out the top; yarn cakes keep their shape, and also double as a frogging bowl –leaving frogged yarn easy to put aside. That's why they've been crowned our  "Large Workhorse Yarn Bowls". If you own one of our (original) large pine yarn bowls, you'll be surpised how much bigger our new large hardwoods are!

Crafted over a four month period, this piece defied nature, drying nice and round over time. Fourteen plus cycles of hand-buffing/finish bring out the rich character of the wood tones and grains. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains. Outside dimensions listed are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered by the artist; #642
