Artfully shaped to hold an entire 7 oz skein or plum cake with ease, this oversized, XL cherry yarn bowl will be your favorite yarn helper. The silky "Fibonacci" spiral groove, beautiful wood tones and are grains nicely accented by a super shiny finish that holds up brilliantly over time.

A 7 oz. ball of #4 weight "super" skein ball rolls well with room to spare,  7oz. +/- yarn cakes and oversized cakes of blanket yarn love this bowl (see pics). So versatile and optimum for knitting/crochet projects using fine #0 - #3 weight fine/dk/sport yarns or plenty of room for smaller works (think scarves, gloves, mittens, hats). Also doubles as a frogging bowl –leaving frogged yarn easy to put aside. 

Crafted over a three-month period, this piece dried with a slight oval warp adding character and screaming "handcrafted wood!" Seventeen plus cycles of hand-buffing/finish bring out the rich character of the wood tones and grains. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains.
