Large+ Yarn Bowl #703 is just a touch smaller than our XL category bowls, and as perfect as nature will allow! From its silky spiral star groove centered in lighter cherry tones which gradually deepen on its east/west views. These pretty wood tones will deepen over time under Bobs super shiny, long lasting glaze finish. A classic beauty.

This "workhorse" plus yarn helper will be at your side for every yarn project large or small... Here's why:
It's ball-hugging shape will cradle up to an entire 7 oz. of #4 (worsted) ball or cake; with room to spare, a small knitting/crochet project using #0 - #3 weight fine/dk/sport yarn, or a large spool of crochet cotton (shown). Frogging becomes a game changer –simply frog into the bowl, leaving projects easy to put aside if interrupted. And while each of our LARGE yarn bowls vary slightly in style and shape, they ALL have been designed to hold giant balls, which roll like silk without popping out –our definition of a "workhorse". It’s as pretty and as functional as I expected. Totally contains my yarn, with a pleasant spin in the bowl. No more yarn rolling around my lap or floor. Why did I wait so long to get one of these, lol...

Measurements are a generous 7-1/2” top dia. x  6-1/4 ” tall. The circumference is 25-1/2" around the middle.  Read more about and how we measure our yarn bowls using diameter vs. circumference and how to the right size bowl for you here.

Crafted over a four-month period; this piece dried nice and round with a slight east/west warp. Over sixteen coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the rich character of the wood tones and grain. A final coat of imported museum wax is added to resist fingerprints and stains. Dimensions listed are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered by the artist. #703. Let it ROLL!
