​This "big little yarn bowl" is extra roomy with a flat bottom bucket shape. Graceful and functional? If you suffer from " tension issues" pulling  just right really shows in the fabric you're creating. My tension is never the same. Using a yarn bowl helps a lot.
Bob's silky Fibonacci groove is accented by an amethyst "beauty mark" of sparkle inlay. Buttery to deep cherry tones centered on a slight north-south warp adds interest. The shine is understated in the photos, not surprising in this lighter bowl  –wait 'til you see it IRL:) As with all Bobs cherry bowls, these tones will deepen over time and exposure to uv rays.
At 8" in diameter x 6-1/8 " deep; this multi-tasker will always be at your side for yarn on the hook. There's plenty of room for extras when set aside. Circumference at midpoint is 26-1/2. A 7++ oz ball of worsted or a giant ball of blanket yarn roll like silk. Or, work several smaller balls pulling from the top. Perfect as a "frogging bowl"; making interruptions easier somehow!? Over twenty coats of finish/hand-buffing resulted in a brilliant finish with a final coat of imported museum wax added to resist fingerprints and stains. Dimensions listed are approximate.
