This "big little yarn bowl" is nice and roomy with a flat bottom bucket shape. A functional collectible you won't want to work without; its much prettier IRL! From the Fibonacci spiral groove to stunning butter to cherry tones that will deepen under a durable gloss finish over time, it's as perfect as possible. Nature left just a hint of north south warp with minimal cracking –an unusual phenomena in naturally dried wood, adding to it's beaty.

With a 7-12" (xtra-wide) opening diameter x 6+" deep; this "workhouse" yarn bowl makes every wip smooth as silk, with room for little necessities when your project is aside. Circumference is a generous 26" around the midpoint. Learn more about choosing the right size yarn bowl for you and how to measure our yarn bowls using diameter vs. circumference here.

A 7 oz. ball of #4 weight "super" skein ball rolls well with room to spare,  7oz. +/- yarn cakes love this bowl, too. Just place cakes up-side down, feed the through the groove for smooth pulling and minimal collapsing until the end. Good for knitting/crochet projects using fine #0 - #3 weight fine/dk/sport yarns; or smaller worsted projects –think scarves, gloves, mittens, hats. Use this workhorse bowl as you change your yarn on the hook for the biggest  projects. Also doubles as a frogging bowl; leaving frogged yarn easy to put aside.

Crafted over a three-month period, seventeen cycles of hand-buffing/finish were topped off by a final coat of imported museum wax to resist fingerprints and stains. Dimensions listed are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered by the artist; #718.
