This "workhorse" yarn bowl is all you need for your yarn on the hook. It's shaped for speed and generously sized at 7” top diameter x 5-1/2” tall. The diameter is 22-1/2" around the middle for maximum interior space. ​As with all our "LARGE WORKHORSE" yarn bowls, it's designed and tested to ensure that 7 oz. ball of #4 weight "super" skein ball rolls well with room to spare,  7oz. +/- yarn cakes love this bowl, too. Just place your cake upside down, and feed through the groove for smooth pulling and minimal collapsing until the end. Good for knitting/crochet projects using fine #0 - #3 weight fine/dk/sport yarns; or smaller worsted projects –think scarves, gloves, mittens, hats. Use this workhorse bowl as you change your yarn on the hook for the biggest projects. Also, it doubles as a frogging bowl; leaving frogged yarn easy to put aside. 
​This piece was sanded/finished over sixteen times so yarns glide through Bob's had-cut Fibonacci groove smooth as silk. Finished to a brilliant gloss, as the pesky reflections in the photos attest; it's super silky to the touch. A final coat of museum wax is added to resist fingerprints.
