I have several cherry bowls that have survived my crashing, thrashing, stray scissors, pins, and doo-dads, inadvertently dropped in the bowls when rushing - inevitable for me. While there are some faint scratches overall, these bowls are remarkably close to their original condition even after 6-8 years of my negligence.
