​This XXL Cherry Yarn Bowl is a versatile yarn tool you won't want to work without. Rotund measurements are 7" (top opening) x 8" (depth). Circumference around the middle is a generous 30". You'll love the graceful hand cut spiral j-groove, ball-like shape, interesting grains and stunning wood tones. When the bowl is unpacked for a work session two medium balls of yarn will roll nicely. Easily fit an entire "Super Saver" 7.5 oz ball with plenty of room to spare; or, pull several smaller balls of fine yarn from the top*. There's plenty of space for everything when your #wip is set aside for all to admire as part of your decor. 

This specimen local cherry hardwood was crafted over a three month period. Nice and round; this is unusual as fresh hardwoods warp in varying degrees while curing.  Over fourteen coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the rich character of the wood tones and brilliant shine. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains Dimensions listed are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered; #1142 with "Cherry" (species) engraved as well. This yarn bowl is simply stunning!
